THE LIGHT AND THE DARKNESS | PAUL BENNETT

‘An Introspective Study on Light and Darkness’ –is a new series of seascape and landscape oil paintings in Paul Bennett’s signature style. Inspired by memory and experience, his works are developed using artistic intuition – they are an eclectic synthesis of place, weather and season. 

The new paintings are based on the drama of the play between light and darkness, heavily influenced by trips to Western Scotland and the Isle of Skye, and with the working process for this new series as destructive and creative as the landscapes themselves when seen in situ.
