Leaves are their most beautiful at the point at which they begin to decay and thus have a potent symbolic value in the contemplation of the issues faced at the end of human life. The pictures also reference other works of art that are relevant to this subject matter and explore the use of scale, symbolism, abstraction, humour and pedagogy in the construction of conceptual art about death.
Above all, it is hoped that the pictures strike the viewer as being beautiful in a surprising way.
This will be the first London Solo exhibition featuring these works. The scale and the intensity of the images create an immersive experience. Each image is available in a small limited edition (4 or 5) and in full and half size.
