 With a global following and a waiting list for new work, this long awaited major London exhbition brings together four strands of work by this exciting British artist.  His well known Superhero Kids, and Observing series will be seen together with the powerful portraits of his Intrusive Series and the playful yet poignant messaging of the Building Blocks.

A selection of works will be revealed here and will be available to purchase from Tuesday 14th September 2021.  The full show will be available to view and purchase once the show has opened on 22nd September.

The title SPACE is a simple word that encapsulates the shared experience of many of us during the last 18 months.  It encompases the contradictions of that word - locked down we have had more space to think and less space to move; we have become aware of space between each other and have become familiar with isolation - both physcially and emotionally.  The themes in Matt's work - the way we look at each other and ourselves; the masks we don to protect ourselves and to hone the image presented to the world; the ways that we express our emotions; the power that words and phrases can have over us - all of these have become accentuated during the course of the pandemic and as such many of the works will touch a nerve.
