London based artist Suzie Zamit's work is about trying to capture the beauty of human and animal forms and to communicate truths of our condition. She enjoys using expressive fleshy materials like wax and clay and says that she feels connected with our ancestors though this primitive artofrm. She is an observer and interpreter. A member of the Society of Portrait Sculptors, Suzie is widely recognised as an exceptional portrait sculptor able to capture a representational rendering in three dimensions. The real power of her work however is the sensitivity with which she captures the vulnerability and emotions of her subjects.
