The Cut

Solo Exhibition of New Work by Laura Beaumont

Laura Beaumont uses the pre-existing media of antiquarian books to explore the sub-text of human interraction.  The absurd, the comic and ironic; scandals, traumas and sorrows are all depicted in miniature tableaux. 

The Cut is the inaugural exhibition in the new series Downstairs at Different, which allows artists the freedom to create more interractive works which allow the visitor an immersive experience.
